Screen Shot 2013-08-15 at 11.14.08It’s a flat stage until the cat 3 finish.

Screen Shot 2013-08-15 at 11.16.13The climb is 4.2km long at an average of just under 6%.This will certainly make for an interesting finish. You can see from the graphic that the section from 4km to 1.3km is steeper than the final 1.3km.The final section is under 4%,so if a strong sprinter can hang in,the last section is quite straight forward.

Screen Shot 2013-08-15 at 11.19.36The final 300 metres loops around,so staying on the inside of the road will be a big help!

Bets I have placed so far:

Meersman – 1 point e/w at 18/1

Iklinsky – 1 point e/w at 125/1

Matthews – 1 point free bet at 50/1

I think that Meersman should be able to hang tough during the 8% section of the climb and if he does he’s the quickest by a distance.

Iklinskiy was incredibly strong during the Eneco, riding in support of Grivko. This finish is perfect for him and he’s massively over-priced.

More bets may follow tomorrow.Watch out for my tweets!
