We end a very entertaining Tour of Britain with a little tour round London.

It’s a circuit stage and covers just 88.8km.

Screen Shot 2013-09-21 at 17.20.17The riders have to tackle 2 90 degree right hand corners, before a 400 metre sprint to the end.Positioning will be crucial,so having Petacchi as his lead-out man is perfect for Cavendish.

Screen Shot 2013-09-21 at 17.25.24The profile is the flattest of the race and the stage will be all about the finish.

Cavendish has to be an enormous favourite, with Viviani a close second.

Viviani did sprint faster than Cavendish in stage 7 but that was uphill. You can get 4/1 on Viviani winning the stage,as it’s a 2 horse race, this represents good value for those feeling brave!

We might even see Sacha Modolo trying to get involved in the sprint after a very disappointing tour for him. Also fighting for 3rd will be Ciolek,Pelucchi and Jarc.Watch out for the NetApp rider Jarc.

NetApp were supposed to be riding for Thwaites on stage 7 and Jarc on stage 8.Obviously Jarc was in better form and he delivered an excellent finish, mainly because he was on Cav’s wheel. He is 6/1 for a top 3 finish and I’ll be having a small bet on him.
