This will be a difficult stage to control with 1 cat 3 climb and 3 cat 2 climbs.
The final climb crests with 51km to go.Both Viviani and Matthews are capable of getting over the climbs but will the race end in a sprint?
BMC will be very keen to help Hushovd remain top dog,so I do expect them to control the break and bring it back for a sprint.
The final climb might just be hard enough to remove Bouhanni but the other sprinters should be there at the end of the race.
That has to make Elia Viviani favourite for me.He’ll be the fastest sprinter left and will want to make up for a poor stage 1,where is positioning wasn’t good.
He is available at 7/1 and I’m backing him.
