Albufeira > Albufeira 22km ITT

A brand-new TT for the race, and it’s a tough one. Lots of little kickers spread throughout the 22km, hard for the riders to settle into any type of rhythm. On the other hand, it’s not very technical, thanks to a few long straights and not too many corners. This is the big day in terms of the GC battle, time lost will be hard to make up on Sunday. The start list is incredible, we’re unlikely to see so many top riders going head-to-head in a TT until the world championships.
