2024 Paris-Nice Stage 8 Preview

Nice > Nice 109km

One of the best stages of the whole year, I love it! There’s a slight change this year, the first four climbs are the same as usual, but the riders then take the short way up Col d’Eze, descend into Nice, then do Quatre-Chemins. Instead of carrying on all the way to Eze, they turn right and head for the finish. This means the crest of the final climb is much closer to the end of the stage, now just 9km. The route is brilliant, and the stage is set for a huge GC fight, I can’t wait.
