2024 Nokere Koerse Preview

Deinze > Nokere 188km

We’re back in Belgium and back on cobbles with the 78th edition of the Nokere Koerse. It’s the usual mix of cobbles and narrow roads, but this is a race that usually ends in a sprint, the cobbles aren’t hard enough to cause gaps, and sprinters love cobbles anyway. It’s a flat race, just under 1300m of climbing throughout the day, perfect for the big units of the peloton. Tim Merlier is the defending champion and he’s back to see if he can win this race for the 3rd consecutive year, it means a little more to him being a local.
