The RCS, yet again, managed to make themselves look like people who couldn’t organise a piss up in a brewery, these guys are fucking clueless. You might have thought they would have prepared multiple back-up options for a stage at high altitude raced in May, nope, they like to wing it. After trying to put the peloton under pressure, they failed, and had to back down and do what the riders proposed. Let’s be honest, it was a shambles, an embarrassment for this beautiful sport. Will they learn? Of course not, they seem incapable of learning from past mistakes. At least Movistar tried to take some of the heat away from them, coming up with yet another example of classic Movistar grand tour tactics. I mean, come on, what the fuck were they doing?
