I remember 2019 stage 6, Fausto Masnada took the stage win and Valerio Conti moved into the pink jersey, he stayed in the race lead until stage 12. Make no mistake, this is a life changing opportunity, something that doesn’t come around too often. This means a crazy start to the stage, just about everyone will be trying to get in the break.
