Pavia > Sanremo 298km The first monument of 2026. After watching UAE rip up the rule book in 2025, I wonder what plans they have for this year’s edition of the race. Pogačar has won just about everything in the sport, all that’s really missing is Sanremo and Roubaix, two races he’ll do everything he can to try and win. Due to that, sprinters don’t really stand a chance of winning this race anymore, they’ll have to wait for Pogi to win and then move onto a different target.
2026 Bredene Koksijde Classic Preview
Bredene > Koksijde 203km Edward Theuns took a brilliant win in 2025, only overshadowed by me winning the cycling fantasy race! It was a great moment for Eddie, but can he retain his title? The route is the same as usual with a little lap near the Kemmelberg, then the riders head north towards Koksijde. With exposed roads, splits are always possible, and the weather normally has a big impact on the type of race we get.
2026 GP Denain Preview
Denain > Denain 201km Proper cobbles, not the pretend stuff you watched today in Nokere Koerse. 13 sectors, totalling 22.9km, this is a demanding race. Matt Brennan won from a small group in 2025 but he’s not back to defend his title.
2026 Nokere Koerse Women’s Preview
Deinze > Nokere 134km After winning this race in 2023 and 2024, will Kopecky complete the hattrick?
2026 Milano – Torino Preview
Rho > Turin (Superga) 174km The 106th edition of this beautiful, old race. Two times up Superga, it’s one for the climbers.
2026 Nokere Koerse Preview
Deinze > Nokere 186km After a break for some stage races, the peloton is back in Belgium and back on the cobbles. It’s the 80thedition of the race, one that usually ends in a sprint, can the attackers spoil the sprinter party?
2026 Trofeo Alfredo Binda Preview
Luino > Cittiglio 152km The 27th edition of the race, one which has been dominated by Elisa Balsamo in recent years. The Italian has won 3 out of the last 4 editions, the record of her team is even better, Lidl – Trek have won the last 5 editions, that’s a brilliant record. Can they do it again?
2026 Tirreno-Adriatico Stage 7 Preview
Civitanova Marche > San Benedetto del Tronto 142km After enduring the past 4 stages, the sprinters finally have something to get excited about. The final stage of Tirreno is one that usually ends in a big sprint, but after a tough week, there’s going to be a lot of fatigue in the legs and the attackers will sense a small opportunity.
2026 Paris-Nice Stage 8 Preview
Nice > Nice 129km The final stage of Paris-Nice, but not as you know it. No Col d’Èze or Quatre Chemins, as someone who loves the usual route, I’m a little bit disappointed, but remain hopeful the new route will be a good one.
2026 Paris-Nice Stage 7 Preview
Nice > Isola 121km Apologies, this is going to be a short preview as I’ve only just got the route and it’s Friday night. The route has been shortened due to snow and the climb up to Auron has been taken out the stage. Instead, the riders will be stopping at Isola, where the intermediate sprint was due to be held.
