Unlike the elite races, it’s just the lap circuit from GP Montréal, 10 times round in this race. Regular cycling watchers will already know the lap very well, if you don’t, why not?

Krk > Labin 174km The first of the big GC days. It’s the usual cobbled finish in Labin, but how many riders will still be in contention for the win by the time the riders reach it?

Biograd na Moru > Novalja 115km Day 2 in Croatia and the return of a stage used back in 2024, when Juan Molano won from a bunch sprint, it was also a sprint finish in 2023. Will it be another big sprint this year?

Split > Seget Donji 168km The first stage of the CRO race should be one which interests the sprinters. This year, the race is really quite hard, the sprinters will be keen on taking this opportunity.

Montréal > Montréal 40.6km TTT The mixed relay, a race which divides opinion, but I like it. Australia have won gold two years running, before that the Swiss won two in a row, who’s going to come out on top this year?

Montréal > Montréal 20km ITT The women’s under 23 ITT world championship is 20km long, it basically doesn’t cross the river unlike all the other races. With Zoe Bäckstedt stepping up to the elite level, there’s going to be a new holder of the rainbow jersey.

Montréal > Montréal 32km The men’s under 23 ITT follows a similar route to the elite category but it’s 32km and not 39km. It’s a good opportunity to take a look at some of the rising stars of the sport, getting a glimpse of who might be the next big thing.
