Marotta-Mondolfo > Mombaroccio 185km The first of two, huge GC days in Tirreno. If you like a muro stage, you’re going to love this. This is what Tirreno is all about for me, you can forget about the long mountains, this is what the fans want to see.

Barbentane > Apt 179km Day 6 and one which the sprinters will hope goes their way, but it’s not going to be easy for them. It’s their last chance ahead of the big weekend stages, can they manage to fight for the win?

Tagliacozzo > Martinsicuro 214km The 3rd consecutive stage over 200km, there’s going to be some sore legs in the peloton.

Cormoranche-sur-Saône > Colombier-le-Vieux 206km Who wants to control a stage like this? It’s a day which many breakaway riders will have marked in the roadbook, and after today’s carnage, most of the peloton will be keen on trying to get up the road. 

Bourges > Uchon 195km It’s the first of the GC days in Paris-Nice and a chance to see how strong Jonas Vingegaard is going to be. The finish in Uchon is a proper wall, it reminds me of old finishes in this race where someone like Purito Rodríguez would be fighting for the win.

Cortona > Magliano de’ Marsi 221km The longest stage of the week, 222km is no laughing matter. This one looks like a good day for the sprinters, but sprinting after a long day in the saddle isn’t easy.

Cosne-Cours-sur-Loire > Pouilly-sur-Loire 23.5km ITT Team time trial day in Paris-Nice, a big day in the fight for the yellow jersey.

Épône > Montargis 187km Just a standard sprint stage in Paris-Nice. Luke Lamperti is in yellow after a brilliant win in the opening stage, his first at world tour level. Can he go two from two?
