Just when you think it’s been a relatively slow news week, up pops a chicane and the shit hits the fan.  You’ve got lot love cycling, in no other sport would a chicane cause so many issues. Anyway, first it’s time to look back…

This week perfectly encapsulated the highs and lows of professional cycling. Time to look back.

With the first monument now behind us, there’s a lot to get stuck into. Jasper Philipsen has won his first big one, and he’s got a chance of winning Paris-Roubaix in a couple of weeks, van der Poel’s biggest threat could come from his own team.

The first monument is just around the corner, all eyes are on Sanremo and what looks like a battle between Pogačar and van der Poel. Before that, it’s time to look back at last week.

Alright folks, what’s occurring? It’s been another busy week in the world of professional cycling, we’re now just waiting for van der Poel to start his season. Tadej Pogačar kicked off his 2024 in typical Tadej style, it’s good to have him back. Right, time to look back.
