The Vuelta is here, and what a start list we’ve got. Only missing is Pogačar, but the rest of the GC riders are all ready to take the start in Barcelona. This year the race spends most of the three weeks in the north, the riders will be hoping to dodge the scorching heat, we’ll have to wait and see if that happens, today was the hottest day of the year in Spain. Roglič is hoping to win his fourth red jersey, Remco is looking to defend and take his second and then we have Vingegaard, the two-time winner of the yellow jersey is here to see if he can do the double, not something that’s done very often. Throw in Ayuso, Almeida and Mas and you can see why so many are talking up this race. Strap yourself in, it’s going to be fun.
