A big day in the battle for the red jersey. 26km of time trail awaits the riders, this is a day where Remco Evenepoel will look to put big time into his rivals.

Just one climb, 620m at 6.3%, it’s a day for the specialists. The opening 8km contains several corners, but these will be taken at speed as we’re in downtown Valladolid. After this, it’s long straights for the rest of the effort. 26km is long enough for gaps, but the climbers will hope to limit the damage.

Sunny and wind of around 13km/h, conditions should be the same for all.  On the long straights, there’s 8km of headwind, followed by 7km of tailwind.
