Coppa Sabatini is a bat shit crazy race; it deserves a much stronger start list. Back in the old days, 2019 and before, you can be sure it was going to end in an uphill sprint, but then the organisers decided to make it much harder, it’s now a race for the wall climb specialists. There’s a lap circuit with 5 ascents of Muri de Peccioli and Montefoscoli, before a 6^th ascent of Muri de Peccioli and then a final circuit with three ascents of the climb up to the line.
