2025 Tour of Luxembourg Stage 3 Previewcyclingmole

Mertert > Vianden 170km

Day 3 in Luxembourg is one of two big GC days, the other being the ITT on Saturday. This stage was in the race last in 2023, Ben Healy won that day after he got away with Marc Hirschi and Dylan Teuns. By the end, Healy won by 15s, the group fighting for 4th were at 37s. This is the chance for those who aren’t the best TT riders to try and get a big enough lead to defend on Saturday, which means we should see attacking racing.

The current prices represent my thoughts more than the opening prices. I don’t believe Grégoire should have been the favourite, in my book, this is a day for Healy. The thing is, I would have backed him at 6/1, I’m not so sure at 7/2. With Carapaz also there, Healy could end up blocked in the peloton. If you like a long shot, Piganzoli at 66/1 will give you something to shout about.
